10 year anniversary rematch for title

In 2019, the Pittsburgh Pirates, considered an upstart team, knocked the Indians off the perch and claimed their first World Series title in over 40 years. Now, 10 years later, the two will meet again with the Indians hoping to avenge their loss and win one more title. The Indians knocked off a pair of 100 win teams in Baltimore and Chicago to advance, while the Pirates took care of Montreal and the Dodgers and held the UBL's best record.

Jays End 35 year Drought!

The Toronto Blue Jays upended the heavily favored Dodgers to take their first World Series title in 35 years! In fact, this was their first trip to the playoffs since 2003, the inception of the UBL. They got hot in the playoffs, knocking out the Rangers and Orioles, en route to stunning the Dodgers. They didn't have any superstars, but a team effort led the AL in most batting categories and came up huge in the title series scoring at will on the tough Dodgers' staff. Congrats!
