Monday, June 26th, 2034: It was an exceptional week for Pete Brown of the Hagerstown Suns.
First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .619 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Mid Atlantic League. Last week Brown went 13-21, notched no home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. All in all, a very good week for him.
On the season, Brown is batting .394 with no home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 37 games. |

Monday, June 26th, 2034: The Player of the Week has been announced by the Midwest League. The award went to Doug Roberts, first baseman of the Lake County Captains.
He dominated league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor. Roberts went 13-26 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 5 RBIs and scored 7 times.
During the current season Roberts is batting at a .353 clip with 2 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 62 games and scored 22 times. |
 | Durán and Dillon Fight, Suspended 2 Games
Sunday, June 25th, 2034: The league office has suspended Arturo Durán of the Grasshoppers and Joe Dillon of the Loons 2 games for their part in the scuffle between the two teams yesterday at Grasshoppers Ballpark.
In 35 games this year Durán has posted a .273 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
This season Dillon has compiled a 1-1 mark with a 3.41 ERA. |
