Monday, September 8th, 2036: The top batter in the Mid Atlantic League in 2036 was New Britain second baseman José Guerrero. Today he was named the winner of the Most Valuable Player Award.
Guerrero starred this season with a .256 batting average, 97 hits, 12 home runs, 48 RBIs, .391 OBP and 52 runs scored.

Monday, September 8th, 2036: Jeffrey Bothwell of the Lake County Captains had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2036.
The 23-year-old first baseman put up a .326 average and a .374 on-base percentage, piling up 159 hits, 50 doubles, 1 triple, 11 home runs, 100 RBIs and 62 runs scored.

 | Cy Young Award Announced, Winner is Thomas
Sunday, September 7th, 2036: 24-year-old Bill Thomas of the Kane County Cougars put together a good year in 2036 for such a young player. Thomas was named today as the winner of the Mid Atlantic League Cy Young Award.
Thomas crafted an impressive 18-6 record and a 1.62 ERA. In 178 innings he allowed 123 hits, struck out 183, and walked 43.
