"Baseball will not tolerate the use of illegal drugs in our sport. I hope the players hear that message loud and clear."
That was the comment by the league commissioner as he spoke to BNN in a press conference after the announcement of another player's drug suspension.
Apparently Tim McLennan is hard of hearing -- the 22-year-old Brooklyn right fielder has been given a 10-game suspension for using a banned substance in violation of the league drug policy.

The 21-year-old left fielder put up a .366 average and a .404 on-base percentage, piling up 75 hits, 12 doubles, 5 triples, 4 home runs, 45 RBIs and 40 runs scored.

Cecil Williamson of the Staten Island Yankees proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Penn League MVP Award.
Williamson hit for a .301 average while collecting 66 hits, 15 doubles, 1 triple, no home runs, 24 RBIs and scoring 26 times.
