| Breaking News |  | Thursday, May 25th, 2028: Hit Parade: Thomas Pops 6 Hits It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Lee Thomas -- a 6-hit day. He went on a rampage at Bank One Ballpark and paced the Diamondbacks to a 12-7 win over the Atlanta Braves.
After his dynamite batting performance the Arizona shortstop told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book.
L. Thomas singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
Currently Thomas is batting .338 with 54 hits and 1 home run. He has knocked in 11 runs and scored 21 times. |  | Tuesday, May 16th, 2028: Chisholm Reaches 2000 Milestone Tom Chisholm reached the 2000-hit mark today. Atlanta's 34-year-old right fielder received a standing ovation from Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds fans alike. On the day, Chisholm went 1-3 in the Braves 11-6 victory.
Lifetime Chisholm has hit .302 with 2000 hits, 346 home runs, 1236 RBIs and scored 1363 runs. |  | Monday, May 1st, 2028: NL's Top Hitter Named Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 27-year-old Robert Redmon put together a solid offensive month for Atlanta and was crowned April's top batter in the National League.
He batted .380 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
