Friday, August 11th, 2028: Lynch on Fire, 5-6 Against Arizona
Jim Lynch really did a number on the Diamondbacks in the Montreal 8-6 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 6 at-bats. But Jim Lynch did just that today for the Expos and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.

"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 29-year-old second baseman said after his record-setting performance.

J. Lynch walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 10th, singled in the 12th, walked in the 15th and was hit by a pitch in the 17th.

In the current season, Lynch has put up a .295 batting average with 124 hits, 4 home runs, 48 RBI and scored 63 runs.
Monday, August 7th, 2028: Player of the Week Trophy to Stroman
William Stroman is respected by most Montreal Expos fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National League Player of the Week honors.

He compiled a .550 average (11-20) with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

Stroman is presently hitting at a .315 pace with 5 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 24 times.
Monday, July 31st, 2028: Allen Batters Montreal Big Time
"Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," New York (N)'s Toby Allen told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well."

It definitely turn out well for Allen today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against Montreal. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Mets knocked off the Expos 12-7 at WPT Field.

T. Allen singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

To date, Allen has collected 8 hits for a .444 average. He has posted no home runs, scored 3 runs and driven in 4 runs.
