| Breaking News |  | Thursday, August 3rd, 2028: Year Ends for Jesus Gonzalez in Milwaukee
The season is ending on a bad note for Jesus Gonzalez, right fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gonzalez was hurt against the St. Louis Cardinals while making a defensive play. He suffered a fractured ankle and will be out for at least 7-8 months.
In this current campaign Gonzalez is hitting at a .299 clip with 10 home runs and 48 RBIs.

An opposing pitcher told BNN after the Milwaukee-St. Louis game today, "Peyton Parker is hitting everything you throw at him. He is one tough out. Fortunately things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a 9-4 win. But Parker still continued his streak."
The Cardinals left fielder now has hit safely in his last 20 games. He was 2-5 in today's contest.
P. Parker grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
To date, Parker has collected 81 hits for a .266 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 42 runs and driven in 24 runs.
