Friday, June 9th, 2028: Seattle Mariners, Vipers Agree to Trade
The Seattle Mariners swapped 31-year old first baseman Michael Fulton for 27-year old third baseman Shannon Blakeley and 23-year old center fielder Gary Evans of the Vipers after what Colorado officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations.

In 27 games Fulton is hitting .241 this season for the Vipers with 27 hits, 4 home runs, 20 RBIs, 5 walks, .281 OBP and has scored 15 runs.

This season Blakeley has hit at a .286 clip and produced 23 RBIs, 5 home runs and 26 runs scored.
Monday, June 5th, 2028: Colorado's Kyle Sleeth Jr. Hospitalized
Kyle Sleeth Jr. of Colorado came down with the flu. Even though he's day-to-day, doctors sent him home for rest and recovery. The Vipers starting pitcher may be away as long as 2 weeks.

So far this season Sleeth Jr. has compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.80 ERA.
Sunday, June 4th, 2028: Shirley Sidelined, Listed DTD by Colorado
The Colorado Vipers may have to play on without standout reliever Jeremy Shirley for at least 1-2 weeks after he suffered a damaged meniscus in a game against the Milwaukee Brewers. The team has him listed as day-to-day.

His 2028 stats sheet shows Shirley has managed to hold opponents to a .179 average in 25 relief appearances, while putting up 3-0 record with 33 strikeouts and 10 walks in 32.2 innings. He has a 1.10 ERA with 1 save.
