Done deal! The Chicago (A) White Sox have agreed to send 30-year old catcher Robert Schurman to the San Francisco Giants for 21-year old minor league catcher Michael Johnstone and 19-year old minor league reliever Bob Washington. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.

Schurman is swinging at a .273 pace on the year with 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 56 games.

Friday, June 2nd, 2028: Wilcher at His Best, Whips Diamondbacks
Leonardo Wilcher was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He blanked the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-0 on 3 hits and had 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.

"You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Arizona skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the San Francisco Giants.

"He just had a real deceiving fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."

In the current season in 11 starts, Leonardo Wilcher has a record of 3-3 with 54 strikeouts in 81 innings and a 3.00 ERA.
