| Breaking News |  | Friday, August 4th, 2028: Munro Gone for Season in Buffalo
Doctors in Buffalo said Jose Munro may not play anymore this year. The Bisons third baseman received a dislocated shoulder during a game against the Indianapolis Indians and will be out for at least 8 months. Club officials told BNN they did not expect him to return to the team this season.
A look at his 2028 stats shows Munro with a .325 average, 6 home runs, 49 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has played in 107 games.

 | Tuesday, August 1st, 2028: Torres Strokes 5 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Raimundo Torres -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at Norfolk Grounds and paced the Tides to a 15-4 win over the Buffalo Bisons.
After his dynamite batting performance the Norfolk left fielder told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book.
R. Torres hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Torres is currently hitting at a .271 pace with 15 home runs and 59 RBIs.
