Friday, May 26th, 2028: Frey on Fire: 5-6 for Louisville
5 times is a charm -- at least in the world of baseball. When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Christopher Frey of the Louisville Bats. He tore up the Scranton Yankees to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the Louisville 20-1 win today at Ballpark of Louisville.

"Frey was a tough out today," the Scranton manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

C. Frey hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off R. Even in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.

Today at Ballpark of Louisville Christopher Frey collected a cycle and led Louisville to a 20-1 triumph over the Scranton Yankees. The Bats first baseman sparked his club with 5 hits in 6 tries with 4 runs scored and 4 runs batted in.

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2028: 3 Roundtrippers for Yoakum
Regardless of where you stand on the "hardest thing to do in sports" argument, one thing everyone can agree on, is that hitting three home runs in one game is quite an amazing feat. That's exactly what Terry Yoakum did today at Field of the Clippers. He went deep three times and carried his team to victory in the Columbus Clippers 7-1 win over Scranton.

"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Yoakum said. "Good things happen, when that happens."

He blistered the Yankees for 3 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 4 times.

The Scranton skipper said, "It ain't like we weren't trying. He was hot and really torched my boys today."

T. Yoakum hit a two-run home run off J. Miller in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off J. Miller in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off J. Miller in the 6th and was hit by a pitch in the 7th.

In his season totals Yoakum has 11 home runs and a .250 batting average.
