That's exactly what Terry Yoakum did today at Field of the Clippers. He went deep three times and carried his team to victory in the Columbus Clippers 7-1 win over Scranton.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Yoakum said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
He blistered the Yankees for 3 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 4 times.
The Scranton skipper said, "It ain't like we weren't trying. He was hot and really torched my boys today."
