Players get multi-hit games all the time. But a 5-hit game only comes around once in a blue moon. It happened at Ballpark of Syracuse when Benedict Daniels of Syracuse scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Richmond Braves.
He walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Chiefs get by the Braves 19-10.
In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the right fielder of the Chiefs exclaimed, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens... good things happen... like 5-5. I could get used to a lot of days like this one."
B. Daniels hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 6th and walked in the 9th.
Thus far this season in 21 games Daniels is batting .357 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 84 at-bats.

"Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Syracuse's Garry Arrington told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well."
It definitely turn out well for Arrington today as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats against Buffalo. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Chiefs knocked off the Bisons 15-1 at Ballpark of Syracuse.
G. Arrington singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off J. Unknown in the 8th and flied out in the 8th.
So far this year in 52 games Arrington is hitting .336 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and 33 runs scored.
