Buffalo's Oscar Almendarez brought his "A game" to the park, shutting down and shutting out the Norfolk Tides 5-0. He racked up 6 strikeouts, surrendered 2 hits and issued 2 walks on his way to the victory.

Thursday, June 15th, 2028: Rausch Slaps 5 Hits
John Rausch really did a number on the Bulls in the Norfolk 10-8 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 6 at-bats. But John Rausch did just that today for the Tides and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.

"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 29-year-old first baseman said after his record-setting performance.

J. Rausch hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, walked in the 11th, hit a solo-shot off D. Warman in the 14th and walked in the 16th.

Rausch is hitting .333 this season with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 45 at-bats.

Monday, June 12th, 2028: Big Stick Wins IL Trophy
There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask James Rea, the Norfolk second baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the International League Player of the Week honors.

Rea piled up 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs while hitting .529.

Thus far this season Rea is hitting .287 with 3 home runs, 31 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 261 at-bats and has played in 65 games.
