Tuesday, July 25th, 2028: 5-5 Day for Love
5 hits in a game has always been a magic number in baseball. Only a handful of players will do that. Get 5 hits in a game and you get your moment of glory... your 5 minutes of fame... you get your name in the record book.

In the Indians 14-0 win over Scranton, Will Love was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Indians Ballpark.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got too much adrenaline going when I realized that this was a special once-in-a-lifetime chance for the record book. On the last hit, I was ready to swing at anything close, I was that excited. That's why my third base coach called time and told me, 'Calm down and wait for a good pitch.' That got me back on track and I nailed the first one in the strike zone."

On his record-setting day Love delivered 5 hits in 5 at-bats, a day he will not soon forget.

W. Love hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

This season-to-date Love has no home runs and a .417 batting average.
Tuesday, July 25th, 2028: Indians Sisemore Strong-Arms Yankees
Tim Sisemore was dynamite today and just blew Scranton away in the 14-0 victory. The Indianapolis Indians starter had everything working as he hurled a 4-hit shutout over the Yankees, recording 5 strikeouts and 3 walks.

"He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the Scranton skipper during his postgame press conference.

His record this season is 14-2 in 19 starts and Sisemore has a 2.06 ERA.
