 | Monday, June 26th, 2028: Memphis's Terry Snaps Up Player of the Week
Scott Terry is respected by most Memphis Redbirds fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .419 average (13-31) with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
In 2028 Terry is currently batting .272 with 9 home runs and 41 RBIs. In 76 games he has reached base at a .337 rate and scored 40 runs to date.

 | Saturday, June 17th, 2028: League Suspends Colón and Holmes for Brawl
Hot tempers flared up and a few punches were thrown at the Round Rock and Memphis game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Roberto Colón of the Express and Sammy Holmes of the Redbirds have now been reprimanded and issued 10-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas.
In 71 games this year Colón has posted a .308 average and put up these numbers: 2 home runs, 49 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
Holmes has taken the hill for 5 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-0 record with a 2.16 ERA. The Memphis reliever has limited opposing batters to a .167 batting average.
