Tuesday, August 1st, 2028: Millen - July's Starter of the Month
Stephen Millen's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-0 in July, the 34-year-old Toronto hurler has been named American League Pitcher of the Month.

He fanned 42 in 45 innings, logged an ERA of 2.40 and allowed opponents to hit .198 against him.

This season Millen has worked 155 innings with 143 strikeouts en route to a 13-4 record and a 2.73 ERA.
Thursday, July 27th, 2028: Dodgers-Blue Jays Trade Announced
Los Angeles and Toronto have agreed to a trade today. 25-year old minor league left fielder Woody Lamb and $2,000,000 in cash will go to the Blue Jays. In exchange the Dodgers will receive 28-year old reliever Steven Currier.



Currier has taken the hill for 42 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 0-1 record with a 7.32 ERA. The Los Angeles reliever has limited opposing batters to a .295 batting average.
Monday, July 24th, 2028: Renzi Sparkles in Shutout
In a standout performance today at Yankee Stadium, Yankees pitcher Brian Renzi blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 4-0. He limited them to 2 hits and posted 6 strikeouts and 1 walk to gain the win for New York (A).

This year Renzi has posted a 5-6 mark in 19 starts and has a 3.84 ERA.
