Lawrence Jackson grabbed a piece of baseball history today when he hit for the cycle. Jackson went 4 for 6 with 5 runs batted in and 3 runs scored against Dayton, leading the Lakeland Flying Tigers to a 12-5 win at Ballpark of Lakeland.
"I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Jackson said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me. The ball seemed that big to me. And it just floated in."
L. Jackson hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off K. Nakamura in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
