| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, May 23rd, 2028: Lewis Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Peoria's Paul Lewis had a very special day against the Catfish when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Peoria Chiefs to a 5-3 win at Chiefs Ballpark.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Lewis said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
P. Lewis hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
In the 2028 season Lewis is batting .355 with 72 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 26 times and batted in 29.

 | Friday, May 19th, 2028: Unknown's Season Could be Over
The season is ending on a bad note for Joe Unknown, right fielder for the Peoria Chiefs. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Unknown was hurt against the Lynchburg Hillcats while being hit by a pitch. He suffered a fractured cheekbone and will be out for at least 7-8 months.

 | Tuesday, May 16th, 2028: Peoria's Sharp Sidelined for Season
Doctors in Peoria said Robin Sharp may not play anymore this year. The Chiefs right fielder received a torn back muscle during a game against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they did not expect him to return to the team this season.
In 2028 Sharp has put up a .222 batting average with 37 hits, 3 home runs and 24 RBIs.
