| Breaking News | | Thursday, June 22nd, 2028: Anderson Slaps 5 Hits It was a sensational day at the plate for Dave Anderson as he led the charge to a 7-3 win over the Drillers.
The Montgomery third baseman was pure misery for the Tulsa pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Drillers told BNN reporters after the game, "Anderson put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
D. Anderson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 9th.
Anderson is hitting .276 in 2028 with 26 RBIs and 5 home runs. | | Sunday, May 28th, 2028: Travelers Chill Bryant's Hot Streak Otis Bryant's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. But the streak had little to do with it.
"I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Bryant said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight."
