It was a sensational day at the plate for Dave Anderson as he led the charge to a 7-3 win over the Drillers.
The Montgomery third baseman was pure misery for the Tulsa pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Drillers told BNN reporters after the game, "Anderson put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
D. Anderson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 9th.
Anderson is hitting .276 in 2028 with 26 RBIs and 5 home runs.

 | Sunday, May 28th, 2028: Travelers Chill Bryant's Hot Streak
Otis Bryant's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Biscuits 5-4 setback to the Travelers. Bryant went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it.
"I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Bryant said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight."
This season Bryant has hit at a .339 clip with 30 RBIs, 2 home runs and 27 runs scored.

| Friday, May 26th, 2028: Bryant's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games
The Arkansas Travelers whipped Montgomery today 5-2, but didn't stop Otis Bryant's consecutive-game hitting streak. The Biscuits center fielder collected 1 hit and pushed the number to 20 games in a row.
O. Bryant struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
So far this year Bryant is batting .347 with 2 home runs, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
