Everything clicked on the hill today for Robbie Price of the Jacksonville Suns as he hurled his club to a 9-0 shutout win over the Mobile Bay Bears, limiting them to 3 hits while recording 10 strikeouts and yielding 2 walks. He overpowered some batters with his fastball and buckled knees with his sharp breaking pitches.
"We had our shot at him a couple of different times," the Bay Bears manager said, "but we weren't able to get to him."

"Schaefer was too tough to get out today," the Bay Bears skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
S. Schaefer singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
