Thursday, June 8th, 2028: Ollis Fires Shutout in White Sox Win
According to Leonard Ollis of the Chicago (A) White Sox, "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location." He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 2-0 victory over Cleveland.

He blanked them on a 5-hitter, allowed no walks and had 6 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Ollis said.

His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again."

In 12 starts this season Ollis has gathered 8 wins while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 98.2 innings, allowed 68 hits, struck out 102 and has a 1.82 ERA.
Thursday, May 18th, 2028: Coppin to Miss 2 Weeks
Cleveland fans will be disappointed to learn that William Coppin developed a torn thigh muscle while running the bases in today's game. After the doctor informed the Cleveland Indians manager that Coppin was expected to miss 2 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the catcher could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

This season Coppin is hitting .348 with 5 home runs.
