Breaking News Friday, July 14th, 2028: Wednesday, May 31st, 2028: 3-Homer Hat Trick for Hall Paul Hall showed some power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Harrisburg Senators and sparked the Mudcats to a 6-0 victory. For the day he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told reporters, "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good. I always have liked to hit here at Mudcats Ballpark." "He was instant offense today," the Carolina skipper said. "Paul really put on a show." P. Hall flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off K. Ladd in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off K. Ladd in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off J. Anderson in the 8th. This season Hall has hit 10 home runs and posted a .259 batting average. Wednesday, May 17th, 2028: Senators Chill Murphy's Hot Streak Bill Murphy of the Springfield Cardinals came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 27-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Springfield dropped the game to the Harrisburg Senators 9-5. In a post-game comment Murphy told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over."
