Monday, July 10th, 2028: Great Week for Bowie's Right Fielder
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Texas League, but last week Ryan Sherborne of the Bowie Baysox reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week.

Sherborne rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (13-26), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award.

So far this season Sherborne is batting .320 with 3 home runs.
Thursday, June 15th, 2028: Broxton Zeroes in on Erie
The Erie SeaWolves were almost helpless today in their 3-0 loss to Bowie hurler John Broxton. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 3-hit shutout.

The Erie manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Broxton. He kept us off balance all night."

Broxton said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play. It was just one of those games that things went my way."

He had 2 walks and no strikeouts in a strong performance.

His record this year is 2-3 in 5 starts and Broxton has a 3.92 ERA.
Monday, June 5th, 2028: TL Player of the Week Picked
Tim McNeil drew on his youthful energy and pitching skill to win Texas League Player of the Week honors last week.

The Bowie Baysox pitcher registered 2 wins and no losses, 0.00 ERA and 7 strikeouts in 11.1 innings to sew up the award. The 21-year-old also held opposing hitters to 4 hits and a .105 batting average.

This season McNeil has gone 6-5 with an ERA of 3.32, posting 48 strikeouts in 86.2 innings.
